Five teams in BISC-E competition

On June 22 five teams will battle in the first final of BISC-E. Teams from Utrecht University, TU Twente, Wageningen University, Maastricht University and two teams from the University of Southern Denmark will present their ideas for a new biobased product or process.

  • Team "No-fosille" Wageningen University  From industrial waste gas to green additives, the production of Liquiritigenin from syngas
  • Team "More than just a carrot" University of Southern Denmark Conversion of carrot residues into higher value product with high content of antioxidants and dietary fibers
  • Team Maastricht University The implementation of enzymes in non-degradable plastics which are activated on damaging the plastic
